Structured governance assurance for UK school governing boards.

Proof

Doing the governance and producing the evidence are the same act.

SGAF doesn't ask a board to assemble proof after the fact. Every audit in the Hub, every stage of the Quality Standard and every governance statement leaves behind the dated record that the work happened. This page is what you can verify about that today.

What you can verify today

Not a claim about governance. A live product with dates on everything.

These frames are not a demo built for marketing. They are the same product a governing board works in, showing the same dated evidence a board would see in its own account.

Every completed check in the Audit Hub carries the date it was run and who ran it, ready to export for the board pack.

How verification works

Two steps: assess for free, then have it verified.

Every board can grade its own governance for free through the Quality Standard. External Validation is the second step: an independent practitioner confirms the grade against the evidence, one stage at a time, through a meeting rather than a form.

Step one · Self-assess

Grade your board against every stage

Free and open to any governing board. Every element secured through the Quality Standard is captured as evidence, not just a score.

Step two · External Validation

Have a stage verified by an independent practitioner

A practitioner reviews the evidence through a meeting, at £295 per stage. The board earns a verified position it can display and share.

Validation External Validation · £295 per stage · see exactly how the review runs

Who stands behind it

Verified by the person who built the framework

This page's strongest proof point isn't a number. It's who is on the other side of the review.

Founder, SGAF

SGAF was not designed by a software team looking in from outside governance. It was built from twenty years inside school governance and nearly 500 schools supported across Lancashire, by the same practitioner who now reviews every External Validation stage in person.

When a school's governance is verified, it is verified by someone who has sat in the room where that governance actually happens, not scored by a formula applied at a distance.
